11th Annual Leadership Summit On Health & Wellness

On August 2nd, 2018 Christian Care hosted it’s 11th Annual Leadership Summit On Health & Wellness, sponsored by Well-at-Work. Each year Well-at-Work hosts community leaders and wellness team members from across the organization. The objective is to equip attendees to pursue personal well-being daily, and uncover opportunities to enhance the wellness programs impact at each Christian Care community. This years summit has been deemed “The Best Overall Leadership Summit of All-Time“.

Over the past decade a friendly competition has formed between the wellness committees on each Christian Care campus. Each year the committees complete a written application that highlights the wellness initiatives completed and planned for the given year. The applications are sent to our friends at Mc Griff Insurance Services for judging, and one community is awarded the traveling trophy and title, Healthiest Campus. In addition to completing the application scored by Mc Griff, the committees put together a Power-Point presentation, and/or a skit to further showcase their wellness initiatives throughout the year. Much like the Healthiest Campus award, a community is awarded a gift for Best Presentation.
